HyLICAL was actively represented at the European Hydrogen Week 2024, one of Europe’s largest and most influential events for the hydrogen sector. The event gathered stakeholders from industry, research, and policy to explore the latest trends and advancements in hydrogen technologies.
Project coordinator Christoph Frommen delivered a presentation at the EU Pavilion’s Technical Forum entitled:
“HyLICAL – Magnetocaloric hydrogen liquefaction technology and its benefits.”
The talk engaged industry leaders and researchers, highlighting the project’s work on developing an energy-efficient, compact, and sustainable hydrogen liquefaction system based on magnetocaloric cooling.
In addition, HyLICAL was showcased at the Institute for Energy Technology (IFE) stand, where visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the project’s innovative approach to hydrogen liquefaction and its role in supporting Europe’s clean energy transition.
