HyLICAL was represented at the Gastech Exhibition & Conference 2024 in Houston, one of the world’s largest gatherings of energy leaders, policymakers, and innovators. The event provided a key platform to discuss the future of hydrogen, low-carbon solutions, and climate technologies.
Hamza Filali, Liquefaction Lab Manager at ENGIE Lab Crigen, presented the HyLICAL project to an international audience, highlighting the project’s objectives and innovative approach. His presentation focused on the use of magnetocaloric cooling technology to improve hydrogen liquefaction efficiency, making production more sustainable and cost-effective.
Participation at Gastech underscores HyLICAL’s role in the global conversation on hydrogen technologies and its contribution to advancing clean energy solutions in Europe and beyond.
HyLICAL is co-funded by the European Union and the Clean Hydrogen Partnership under the Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.
